I believe Floyd started off at Junior Featherweight and won world titles from there up to Junior Middleweight so he cannot be accused of being a weight bully. He beat a murderous row of world champions and world class fighters. He did not need to fight abroad as the USA and Las Vegas is the home of boxing. I don’t see his opponents complaining. He came, he saw and he conquered.

Baldomir couldn’t pay fees so was only able to keep WBC and not WBA and IBF Margarito,Cotto, and Mosley passed around that same title, realistically if Baldomir could pay the fees Mayweather would have been WBC, WBA, and IBF Champ and none of those guys would have won a title.

not really it’s only 1 IF that is Baldomir not having enough money to pay fees to keep all the belts so he kept the most prestigious one the WBC. Mayweather-Baldomir was a Lineal Title match that SHOULD have been undisputed if Baldomir had a bigger backing behind him when he upset Judah.

its funny that the last TRUE UNDISPUTED WW champ was Zab Judah in 2006 he was beaten by Baldomir, and due to money the titles were broken up, yet Mayweather who gets crapped on beat Baldomir and Judah b2b the last 2 REAL UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONS AT WELTER yet people say he didn’t do anything impressive.

 

You can call Floyd the REAL undisputed all day. Still never happened. Interesting thing about Zab being the last undisputed champ @ WW, he never unified any of the belts. All the work was done for him before
