    LOL at Mike

"Why did you bite him the second time?"
"Because I got away with the first one"

Wasn't uprovoked but Real Deal did a number on Dokes here. Killer combo:

Lewis actually gets impatient with Acey not being fully down here so he pushes on the back of Acey's neck to put him down and then unleashes a 3-punch combo on him.

Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield, Golota, Bowe, Bruno ..... some real dirty heavyweights in 1990s.

Evander was a dirty cheat, who headbutted and used steroids. He should have been stripped of all his titles.

Lewis had some fouls, but next to Holyfield he's an amateur in the fouling department.

I agree, but Evander was the dirtiest of them all.

I think people say Holyfield was the dirtiest because Tyson and Lewis whined about it. I don't think it's been calculated based on anything deeper than that. Tyson fans are especially whiny about it, despite the fact that the 'famous' headbutt in the first fight was Tyson's headbutt gone wrong ... LOL.
I seriously doubt Holyfield fouled more than Bruno or worse than Golota, who didn't have his skills. But maybe he did. Maybe he was the worst.
He was a master fouler, of course.

I think Lennox Lewis is the most underrated fouler of them all. People still like to turn a blind eye, despite the ample video evidence. Maybe the likes of Holyfield and Tyson (who both fouled loads) were more subtle but Lewis is the one who looks worst of those "big three" from what I can see.

Tyson a "subtle" fouler? He bit, elbowed, and even put his opponents on a kimura! ;)

I agree Lennox was an awful fouler, too, though.

I agree, none of them were subtle.
I'm just saying I think I see Lewis fouling more than Tyson or Holyfield did.

The Grant fight is ridiculous. A big fight like that, and everyone (the referee foremost) turned a blind eye to the fouls.
4 knockdowns and 2 or 3 of them were complete fouls, the final knockdown was really bad.

It's all part of the game though.
In professional boxing fouling seems to be closely linked to greatness !

I am a huge Lennox detractor, so you won't get an argument from me regarding his unsavory ways.

Riddick Bowe needs another mention though. He really enjoyed taking it to the street. He met his match in Golota though !

Under the rules, it should've been an immediate DQ loss for Lewis. Bowe's fouls vs Mathis jr and Tillery were bad also
