a lot of people simply mistake quality and excitement with one another. You can say that hw eras back then were better in terms of excitement, but i highly doubt thah you can say that this era is crappy. There are just less exiting fights as a whole.

well at least to me there is something like natural physique you just have. That can of very from time. But when your bodyfat is over 15% and your shorter then your all opponents then you are not a part of that weight class.

Ali did not get hit by all of them. Liston and Foreman never connected. If an average cruiserweight like Cooper could knock him down with just 1 punch, you can sure bet your arse the other 2 would have knocked him senseless had they connected a similar shot.

 

When I say crappy, it's in regards to the level of the top HW's. And a VERY thin top level it is IMO. After AJ, Wilder (sic), and Fury, the drop off is like a ledge.

Neither landed head shots as clean as the one Cooper hit Ali with. All they had were some grazing blows. Foreman also had some good body shots, but that's about it.
And stop bringing Shavers into this, he's overrated as **** in terms of punching power. He's nowhere near the top 5 all time.

Exactly the point. The guys who are over 240 today most likely either wouldn't have been on ali's time or they just wouldn't be able to compete in a 16 round fight such as Ruiz or Whyte. It all evens out. Ali would have rose to the top of any eras

 

Then almost all of the cruisers of today are 200+ heavyweights. Just like Ali.
