I became a boxing fan seeing Mike Tyson's fights but let's be honest his best moment has happened and at 53 he only has to relive his old glories in front of a television as many of his fans do ... maybe Mike feels nostalgia but your health is more important

People keep seeing the video of him hitting the pads and saying that he'll beat Wilder and Joshua, but they don't realise that hitting the pads and fighting are different, they see they're favourite fighter looking good on the pads and start to get hyped up, but Tyson looked good on the pads pre Holyfield fights and just a day before the Danny Williams fight and he lost those fights plus he hasn't fought for 15 years or something and is in his 50s

He's not going to. I am just going to repeat a previous post, here:

Tyson was already in a sort of decline after the Michael Spinks fight in '88, since he was no longer using the combinations and head movement.

The last really impressive opponent that he beat would be Ruddock--that was 91.

Last good wins were in 96 against Bruno and Seldon. After that there was the Holyfield fights, and even the Botha fight he went crazy had to cheat by trying to break the poor guy's arm.

So, to put things in perspective:

He hasn't been prime for 32 years.
He hasn't been a great fighter for 29 years.
He hasn't been a good fighter for 24 years.

Should Tyson come back to boxing, he might be killed. And you know who agreed? Mike Tyson, who once said "I have lost so much to drugs and alcohol that I would fear for my life if I fought again."

Agreed! The man was sent into retirement by Kevin McBride. A man that both Wilder and Joshua would destroy, not only the version that beat Tyson, but any version of with realitive ease. Fans believe Tyson can come back and beat these guys? LOL As Chuck D said back in the day.......DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!YEAH BOOOOOYEEEEEE!

If mike tyson tries biting someones ear off today, he might end up breaking his teeth.

    It’s just a charity bout.

And really, what else is he going to do? Just wait to die?

Let him have some fun and exercise.

Botha and Golota were good victories too.

I question the sanity of anybody who thinks a 5 second video of him hitting pads is indicative of his potential in defeating Anthony Joshua.

Was he hitting the pads any worse than that 15 years ago? He couldn't even beat Kevin McBride. He has absolutely zero chance against Anthony Joshua.

    He isn't coming back.

    Incorrect.

    Golota was a NC.

Botha would have been a DQ loss for anyone not named Mike Tyson.

discounting Golota peroframnce because ganja in blood changed it officialy NC and discounting Botha performance because you think it should be DQ because of some arm twisting.

    Double standard much

No double standards here. One was not a win and the other he should have been disqualified if not arrested. The double standard worked FOR him. He is Tyson so he does what he wants.

He’s coming back for a few exhibitions.

Nothing to criticise and get worked up about.
