Canelo Fought the #1 JrMW, and the #2 JrMW, he also fought the WBO JrMW, he went up and in his first fight there fought the #1 MW, and then rematched him and beat his ass Mexican style, then proceeded to fight the #2 MW, went up to LHW and fought a top 3 LHW in his first fight there and KTFO, came back down chasing three of the four SMWs in Smith, Plant, and BJ Saunders.

Lomanchenko got beat by a Mexican using Mexican style, then had a relatively close fight with Russell, swerved the Berchelt fight at SFW, and then you have the Mikey Garcia tragedy, not to mention the other top LWs he's not fought.. Did I mention that B level Linares was tagging Loma all night and even scored a KD?

Tank's competition doesn't even vaguely resemble live bodies enough for me to dignify him by considering his chances against Lomachenko, he's a non-factor until he steps up and does something (Pedraza feels like forever ago).

Chop? Guy was a really solid pro, I would argue more rounded than the Venezuelan. I'm not sure what clearly seperates them, other than meaningless multi-weight paper champ status and political favor/opportunity. Does Linares even have a win as good as Corley's over Bailey, let alone better? Chop fought a who's who, was able to rock guys like Floyd and Cotto and was able to do the rounds with the like of Chino, Ruslan, Postol while way past his pomp.

Judah? Better than Linares, not even close.

Shane? I don't need to justify that one.

Chino? Absolutely better than Linares.

I continue to be bewildered by the level of esteem Linares receives for such thin, flimsy evidence of his posited standout caliber at world level.
