I know a Cuban coach. His son fought with the Olympic squads, also fought against Rigondeaux as an amateur. He helped to train him. He also trained Ortiz at one point.

Says his age is correct. No reason to lie to us. I've posted this like a half dozen times here. SMH.

 

It's hard to consider him that age because I'm also 41, he looks significantly older than me. TBH he looks older than my 50 year old brother. I'll give the caveat that we aged quite well but still.........I personally think he's no younger than 44-45. Being older given some of his "known" health issues is possible. Trickery surrounding real ages is not all that rare.

The only way you can be elite at that age is by juicing. Even with the juice he gassed like a ***** against Wilder in both fights and got stopped. A 40 year old on the juice wouldnt gas as badly as that. He must be late 40s or early 50s to gas that badly.
