Sugar Ray Leonard vs Duran III was terrible

 

I don't know, I turn them off after a few rounds of shite. Obviously live is different, but the one I hated the most live was Lawrence Okolie (shock) vs Askin.

 

Mayweather vs Pacquiao was dreadful. Tried to watch it again on Showtime a couple weeks ago. Couldn't get through it this time. For something billed as the "Fight of the Century", it was a total farce.

 

I can't watch boring fights anymore, either.

Some people watch boxing no matter who is fighting. So promoters deliver nobodies.

I actually attended a Demetrius Andrade fight once. When it was clear he was just coasting to a decision, the crowd was so dead. People were like give us anything to cheer about.

Boxers who think a win is a win and you don't have to attempt to give fans any action lost me years ago. I don't even tune in when they are on.

That is why I don't get the love for guys like Kevin Johnson on this site. He essentially acts as a breathing heavy bag.

He not only doesn't seem to even try to win, he usually sucks all the life out of an event and it takes a while for fans to get back into the next fight.

I do not know why promoters even put him on cards anymore. When he shows up, I know the promoter doesn't care if the fans get their money's worth.

You could make a dullest fights ever list with just Kingpin bouts.

 

That's actually why I quite like him. The aim of a boxing is to win and entertain, and he has the balls to do the opposite of both.

You are right though, he is a boring *******.

 

Yes, the worst main event ITV ever showed.


But Nelson did not stop there, Nelson/Warring was awful, and I also had the misfortune of going to Nelson/Akinwande...


Outside The Entertainer; Starling/BrelandII was dull.

I've watched Byrd vs Williamson and Ruiz vs Rahman simultaneously a couple of weeks ago to compare which one was worse. And Ruiz vs Rahman was FAR worse IMO. Byrd vs Williason was no action without clicnhes. Ruiz vs Rahman was no action with tons of clinches. Byrd vs Williamsob was just very boring while Ruiz vs Rahman was very boring and extremely UGLY "fight". It was clearly worse

 

Oh god. Ruiz-Rahman. Good call.

A heavyweight "title" fight considered so bad going in that it was buried on a Cory Spinks undercard. I bought that PPV. I stayed home from a Christmas party to watch it. What a mistake.
