We may be getting a more intriguing fight with Justin, he did a tony on Tony and is a level above in wrestling. Khabib may be thinking how do i get through this.
It's pretty hilarious how Dana used to talk all sorts of **** about boxing not putting together super fights like Mayweather-Manny when they were at their peak, yet MMA fans have missed out on Anderson Silva vs. GSP, Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones, Holly Holm vs. Ronda II, Ferguson vs. Khabib etc. due to errors made by the UFC. That said, given that Justin just beat that ass, I don't see why Gaethje vs. Khabib is really any less intriguing from a competitive standpoint. Obviously Khabib vs. Tony had the amazing narrative. But Justin is a murderous puncher with a Ben Tackie caliber chin, vicious leg-kicks, and All American wrestling credentials. Sign me up for that one
Hows it errors by the UFC that Tony v khabib didn't happen. Khabib pulled out with weight missed and Injuries. Tony also did the same. How is it UFC's Error ? Holly v Rowdy didn't happen...Rowdy wanted no part of it. Came back thinking Amanda would be a push over. GSP didn't want to sign against Silva knowing he was on roids...how is that UFC's error? Jones had bigger headlines in LHW with DC yet kept getting suspended...How is that UFC's error?
I`d like to see Just G. v Khabib now though, he completely out-classed Fergie and deserves a shot v Khabib now.
What would have been the point in Ronda v Holm 2, Holm out-classed Ronda which was cemented by Nunes exposing the limited Rousey also.

Yes but it's not the fight I wanted to see styles make fights and I wanted to see those styles I wanted to see if Ferguson's bjj could negate Kabibs ground and pound
Gutted for Ferguson who I still think could have given Khabib problems but i'm happy to see Gaethje be the 1 to do the job hopefully soon as Khabib is able to otherwise hopefully he still fights again this year on fight island or wherever Gaethje is easy guy to root for and i hope yesterdays win makes him a massive star and gets him the big money his fun fan friendly style deserves
I won't be suprised if Tony comes back. His hand speed etc just looked a step off even before he took a shot. He did some of his usual self with non stop kicks and punches near the end of Round 2 and dropped Justin. Making 2 weight cuts at his age in a couple of weeks isn't gonna help. But i am looking forward to Justin v Khabib, he doesn't talk **** and is a respectful man.
