Ok man I'm not going to go back and forth with you, there is a fight in a guy's list on here that happened and was pretty decisive I'm not a forum police if that's what the man think he wanted to see that's what he wanted to see. What would De La Hoya vs Trinidad had shown us a second time, that De La Hoya was still able to outbox him if he kept his foot on the gas? That's what YOU wanted to see, why SHOULD that fight have been made again? it was nothing left to see, but if that's what YOU wanted to see why do I care to tell you not to? De La Hoya landed damn near 100 more total punches than Trinidad with a very slight edge in power punches also. What was that fight to want to see again, but you wanted to and that's fine. It's all subjective but you want the objective statement here I guess since you post a lot and have been on here a while.

Forrest vs DLH would've happened but Forrest lost twice to Mayorga , I say Lopez vs DLH was the fight that should've happened instead of Quartey vs DLH, since I think Lopez clearly beat Quartey

It’s a bit like Vitali and Wladimir not fighting each other.

    Headline Reads:

    Mosley targets Trinidad
"Sugar" Shane Mosley could lure Puerto Rican Felix Trinidad out of retirement for a one-off fight this year, said promoter Gary Shaw.

That was 2004, Shane wanted him to come out of retirement for a fight, but according to this forum's regulator "their paths never really crossed" maybe Gary Shaw didn't refer to him before releasing this statement.

Who didn't? DLH was the cash cow, Forrest decided to take a "tune up" against Mayorga and paid the price then Forrest had a long layoff came back to 154 and lost to Quartey, IMO if Forrest would've beaten Mayorga the fight wouldve happened

Well... if Shane had to try and LURE Tito out of retirement...then yes, they never crossed paths. That's what retirement does...takes you out of the game.

By that logic no one on anyone's list crossed paths then unless it was a rematch. If you try to make a fight and are unsuccessful the only other way to "cross paths" then is to actually fight by the logic being applied. So all fights would have to be rematches on this list. He didn't remain inactive.

No...that makes no sense. Or I have no clue WTF that means. :) But for the thread's sake, the fighters are active at the same time, ad in the same weight class from what I can recall. That was NOT the case for Shane and Tito. While i would have loved it, timing wasn't there.

Are you stupid? He had a belt he won from Andrew Lewis. Nothing wrong with unification dumb****. But YOU called it a tune up. You probably didn't even know it was a unification bout.
