Canelo is a better fighter than Golovkin.

You should just stop following boxing and come back when Canelo retires.

Instead of talking nonsense, be learned.

As to who is better, we had our answer over two razor-close fights. Whether you think one or the other barely won, or should have received a close-but-comfortable decision, or were both a draw, we saw one man slightly past his best vs a man entering his peak, and the latter was caught using PEDs and cleared his name with the faulty follicle test (ineffective against blondies and gingers) and a downright silly excuse. No amount of debating, hand-waving, or "lol'ing" will change that. At his best, GGG was better than Canelo.

Likewise, we also know who is greater (insofar as we define 'greatness' as 'accomplishments + quality victories'). GGG did not fight a lot of top guys; Canelo, Jacobs, Derevyanchenko, and maaaaaybe David Lemieux? (I do not count the Kell Brook slaughter any more than I count the Amir Khan KO for Canelo). Cotto, Kirkland, Lara, Trout, Jacobs, GGG, Kovalev (I was one of the guys who thought Ginger-Snaps would get slaughtered), plus championships in multiple weight classes and became a major star in boxing who everyone chases for the payday; Canelo has him beat.

The particulars here don't matter here to me; whether you think GGG was avoided by everyone or he was the one avoiding, whether you think Canelo got deserved wins or undeserved decisions, the bottom line is that Canelo's resume is top-tier, and GGG's is barely adequate for a top guy. The only thing 'dunk-worthy' is that super-middleweight title win, and in this day and age of multi-titles from even the same governing bodies, that's almost an (unfortunate) inevitability.

'Greater' or 'Better', both are fairly clear-cut. Debating this issue to me is just trying to argue for the sake of arguing.

That said, both men should be praised and lauded for refusing to fight that overhyped boring piece of **** Demetrius Andrade. Praise be to these two glorious men for continuing to troll that walking cure for insomnia.

It's like Michael Jordan vs. Lebron James. One is better, one is greater.

    Jab - GGG
    Chin - GGG
    Speed - Canelo
    Footwork - GGG
    Combinations - Canelo
    Timing - GGG
    Power - GGG
    Defense - Canelo
    Right hand - GGG
    Left hand - GGG
    Uppercut - Canelo
    Reflexes - Canelo
    Stamina - GGG
    Head movement - Canelo
    Punch variation - GGG
    Long range - GGG
    Mid-range - GGG
    Inside - Canelo
    Bodywork - Canelo

They fought twice, GGG was 3-4 years past his prime, they are about the same size, Canelo was caught cheating. Canelo gave up a legitimate belt to not fight a prime GGG. When they finally fought, majority of people had GGG winning both fights, that anwers the question

Actually, skills probably are subjective. Hence why people can debate about who's more skilled between two fighters.

Skills are less subjective for example only a hater or fool would argue that pbf isnt a great counter puncher. Whereas some one arguing that if he's exciting or not is up for debate. Some appreciate master boxers and find that exciting others appreciate brawlers and find them exciting some appreciate all styles.
