I wish Jim Lampley and Larry Merchant and George Foreman were still commentating

I liked hearing their commentary in the 90's. IMO, they were the ATG trio of boxing commentators. I wish they would all come back to being commentators today.

They were a great team based on comic relief more than insight. There was definitely a charisma about them, but I feel the BEST team was the plain ole duo of Tim Ryan and Gil Clancy.

Do I miss Lampley/Merchant/Foreman though? Listen, we gotta deal with Brian Kenny/Chris Mannix/Sergio Mora now... OF COURSE i miss the HBO team!

It's so bad now I almost miss the Albert/Pacheco/Czyz team (ok, not really).

I don't know how often they were paired together, but in the 90s a great duo was Barry Tompkins and Al Bernstein.

Bernstein isn't that good anymore, he's washed up as Hell. But he was great in the 80s and 90s.

Barry Tompkins, even now at 167 years old, is STILL quality. It's amazing.

I just wish DAZN would go bankrupt so boxing telecasts can be enjoyable again.

Bernstein sucked. He was incredibly biased.
He marred Durans win over Moore by claiming without any proof ( to this day) that Duran thumbed Moore in the eye. Repeated it the whole fight.
He then had the audacity to claim Barkley beat Duran. He even gave Barkley the first rd when Duran had him hurt!

    Al always shucked.
