Justis Huni turning pro is a big deal. There's a chance that the Tokyo Olympics won't go ahead at all so it will be interesting to chart his progress over the next 12 months. As for possible opponents, he can probably get in six fights between now & when the Olympics is scheduled to take place. He may be limited to local opposition though. With that in mind, I'd match him with these guys: 1. Willie Nasio 12-4 (11) Former Australian champ 2. Faiga Opelu 13-1-1 (10) Current Australian champ 3. Christian Tsoye 5-3-2 (4) Tough African 4. Arsene Fosso 3-0 (3) Big Tough African 5. Willis Meehan 9-0 (7) 6. Demsey McKean 18-0 (12) I think that's a decent series of fights to get Justis' professional career heading in the right direction.
Stretton Gym Joe Goodall 6 - 0 and Toese Vousiutu 1 - 0 who defeated JG for a Gold Coast CMW spot should also be considered opponents . Newsletter Boxing Aust May. https://edm.revolutionise.com.au/view/online/3tbylhjgnhrr7kwx/
Joe Goodall is a good shout. He & Arsene Fosso were medalists in the SH/W division at the 2017 World Amateur Championships so they would be good wins for Justis between now & the Olympics if he were to face them. In addition to some decent fights though, Justis will also need some good sparring. With Joe Goodall based in Brisbane, he might be more useful as a training partner rather than an opponent.
With the travel bans Parker may have no choice but to fight the likes of Browne, McKean and Junior Fa

Why? Parker would win it easy. Why not omit Parker from it and add someone like Leapai in to at least make it interesting. All things considered I'd favor McKean to win it all.

I was trying to include Paker to keep him active. Yeah you're right, Leapai would make for a more interesting lower level sort of tournament bu it was more about getting Parker fights as it's gonna be hard for him to stay active with the travel restrictions going on here.
A new Aust Contender TV is in the works. The idea being proposed is to sign up a dozen of the best 154 lb to fight for the right to fight Tim Tszyu. The two trainers would be Fenech and Mundine . The fighters mentioned are Zerafa, Daniel Lewis and Jack Brubaker and talk of UFC fighter and a highly ranked American joining the show. Matt Rose is talking to Fox , Netflix , Amazon Prime and free to air TV. Fenech '' Its a great opportunity to show boxing in a positive light . "
This is just another embarrassing piece of journalistic nonsense to make boxing a bigger joke than it already is. Perhaps it could be on the Kye Mckenzie v Lomachenko card with Tyson v Gallen thrown in for good measure, what a night that would be. We sadly lack boxing reporters in Australia and the sport is passed off to so called experts from other sports who are gullible enough to print this garbage. I would rather see no news on boxing than the tripe we are dished up by these imposters.
