I don't think I've ever made any direct comparison of Fury and Holmes's title defences. Just how they'd fare H2H. As a champ Holmes is obviously more established.
And proven, at all levels. He had his own old man to beat up for the recognition, and he had more than just 1 unskilled opponent, but he also beat a lot of world class guys whose names you would be much more familiar with if Larry Holmes hadn’t been around back then.
That's a whole lot of BS instead of just saying Fury's resume is weak. Your ***** ass can't admit it so, you come up with this he's just getting started BS. LOL You keep believing that! What posts have I made about Wilder being some great fighter like you do about Fury? Talking out of your ass as usual?
For the final time I am talking about Terrible Tim‘S skills levels he could teach and improve the fundamentals of the current generation.
Let me illustrate what is happening in the hw division. The titles are changing hands like they were causing cancer, with no man standing out above the rest. Now this could be due to 2 reasons. Either the division is so rich in talent that the fights could easily reverse themselves. Like what we had with the fab 4. Or, the talent is so average, that there is never gonna be a dominant man cause anyone of them could lose on any given night. Sort of what you see with the sad 4....which I remind you, includes the skills package of one Deontay Wilder.
His resume is fine for an active, 31 year old champion. You don't understand this because you are an idiot. He has beaten one fighter that is better than anyone Holmes ever beat, and five others that could be Larry Holmes title defenses. Wilder isn't a great fighter by any means, just a big win IN CONTEXT, and again, better than at least half of Larry Holmes' crappy title defenses. I say so all the time, and was discussing it the other day.
Fury`s resume is no where near that of Larry Holmes. You are entitled to your opinion and so is everyone else.It seems to me you call anyone who disagrees with you an idiot. That is very disrespectful there is no right or wrong just people viewing things differently
But you ARE an idiot, because your point is that Fury's resume is not as good a Larry Holmes', and you are citing a post WHEN I WAS SPECIFICALLY SAYING THAT IT WAS NOT THE COMPARISON I WAS MAKING AND IT IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE COMPARISON, SINCE FURY STILL HAS HALF OF HIS CAREER AHEAD OF HIM. It is amazing how the ******s all tend to stick together. Please carefully re-read what you yourself have cited. I will bold the relevant part since you have reading comprehension problems: His resume is fine for an active, 31 year old champion. You don't understand this because you are an idiot. He has beaten one fighter that is better than anyone Holmes ever beat, and five others that could be Larry Holmes title defenses. And by the way, yes, should he beat Joshua, he will have beaten the biggest rivals in his era the way Larry never did, and leapfrog past him. But no, he is not there yet.
