In a way, Jofre-Medel round 5 is to Gatti-Ward round 5 what Jofre-Medel round 9 is to Gatti-Ward round 9. If that makes sense.

Nobody has mentioned any rounds from Mahyar Monshipour vs. Somsak Sithchatchawal yet.

 

Yeah, I thought you'd say something reasonable like that but the thing is
... it's on my watch list and I still haven't seen it yet.

 

I have, it's an awesome little tear up but none of the rounds really stick out in my mind.

 

I read that rounds 9 and 10 won Round of the Year with ESPN and The Ring respectively so figured there might be something worth listing. Will have to watch it rather than guess!

They were excellent, but not all too much more than the rest of the fight iirc.

 

Ok, I don't want to bombard the thread with rounds from just one fight, but seeing as round 10 isn't eligible for Corrales-Castillo 1, how about rounds 6, 7, 8 and 9?

Might need to rewatch that one to narrow it down as my notes on the fight aren't particularly clear about which is the best
