    I don’t recall Hopkins/Calzaghe if I’m honest.
This stood out mainly because of the brutal beating Hagler dished out, also the reaction of some Minter ‘fans’, as in booing the US anthem, and throwing beer bottles etc into the ring post fight.

Wilder says a lot of stupid things like wanting a body on his record.

Ali and Frazier needs context in the sense that yes Ali was cruel not just to Frazier but to everyone and Ali identified with the civil rights issues of the day and Smoking Joe was viewed as establishment champion but he was no Uncle Tom.

Minter said he won’t lose to a black man or something to that effect.

Minter's tried to row back on that since saying the quote is to 'that black man' but I hardly think that helps him much.

He also claims that he and Hagler became great friends post fight but I have no idea whether or not that's true.

Yeah, I’m happy Oscar put a beating on that guy. Mayorga also slapped Mosley’s wife right in the keister at a press conference. A crazy dude indeed.

Eubank Snr. was every bit the gladiator too, his first fight with Benn and the Watson rematch prove that. Despite the tragic ending, prior to Eubank KO'ing Watson he was taking an absolute pasting and just would not give up.

True but I think the gladiatorial contest as in that show is more Benn’s type of thing.
