I think it taints his reputation and puts a question mark on his legacy so I am not sure he is forgiven. I cannot lie though he is someone I root for as there is a lot to admire in his talent.
While we can't be certain how clean any boxer really is, what we can say about GGG is that he's stayed in the same weight class his whole career, he's always had power, he's always had good fitness, he's always made weight, he's never had testing issues. So he looks a hell of a lot cleaner than most. On the other hand, a cloud hangs over a number of his opponents. > Canelo. The most obvious PED cheat in the sport right now. Has all the red flags: Moving up weight classes without issue, gaining power, gaining stamina, failing a test without question ... > Kell Brook. Had a whole university team trying to engineer him into a superman for the fight. Added significant lean mass (came in heavier than GGG). Extremely fishy situation, I'm sure many performance enhancing loopholes were found by the scientists using him as a guinea pig. > Jacobs. Lack of testing in that fight and he came in enormous. > Steve Rolls. Just kidding.
GGG is a favorite of mine but he looked knackered in his last fight and I think he is gonna come undone against Szeremeta because he isn't the force he once was, a year and a half ago he would have been a class above Szeremeta

Not at all both Canelo & Mayweather have been exposed a cheaters. The fact the NSAC gave Canelo a ludicrous ban of 6 months which coincided with him getting needed Knee surgery plus they decided Floyd was innocent when they refused to investigate the obvious Illegal & excessive saline treatment that he received in his own home.
