Anthony Joshua vs. Rocky Marciano

Well, i agree that Rocky had thicker frame in some parts of the body but kovalev is taller and not much smaller than Marciano. Kovalev is a full sized lhw and marciano a small cruiser, not a big difference between both them

Kovalev is smaller man!He is just same size as Hearns but with a bit weight on him!Kovalev is skinny fat tall type of fighter!
Marciano is much bigger man!Thicker fists,frame,legs,neck,forearms....
Kovalev is just tall guy but he is very skinny and he was middleweight in amateur while Marciano was naturally 200lb man who went under 190lb because of his training!Kovalev is not even full sized LHW because Archie Moore was bigger and thicker than him also!

Again, the original comment made was that Marciano was smaller than Kovalev. He didn't have a thicker frame in some parts of the body, he had a thicker frame in ALL parts of the body. He was unquestionably bigger than Kovalev.

 

I don't care about kovalev,the point is that marciano was not a 200 pounds fighter.

Takam was easily tagging Joshua's body over and over again, so Marciano would definitely find his way to connecting on Joshua's solar plexus and Joshua still throws his punches very wide. Joshua's defense and ring efficiency also still need a lot of work.

Shkor at 6'4" had twice the ring experience Joshua had and used many of the same methods Wlad used against smaller fights and was somewhat successful against Marciano, but eventually got cut down.

Moore, who was around 5'10" was close to Marciano's height and was also very good as using uppercuts on bigger opponents after hitting them in the chest and trapping them.

Parmentier was 6'5", young, strong, and could punch, but he was such a big and easy target to land on for Moore and was quickly neutralized.

Stop spreading this myth that AJ has a glass jaw. If he had a weak chin then how come he has took the biggest shots in boxing(Klitschko right hand, Whyte left hook) and came back to KO them both. If he could take those shots from 240 lb men then he could most certainly take the power of a light heavyweight Rocky Marciano.
