Obviously I was talking about hand to hand combat without weapons, not military service. John was a professional boxer, known bare knuckle fighter and self proclaimed hardest man in Britain (lmfao) so I'd imagine he has probably had fare few more scraps than Middleton. As far as I'm aware the British army don't teach hand to hand combat although I'm sure Middleton got into a few tear ups in his time served.
They might do in the sas... But I doubt it.. They definitely don't in the normal army.. Although they will teach you boxing and mma on some camps.... Bit of milling in infantry phase one.. But that's just swinging for the fences.. No skill allowed Never met anyone who passed selection so can't say with certainty that they don't teach hand to hand Middletos most high profile fight was bangin out a female copper a few years back
Seen a few of the inter service championships on you tube, there was also charity event at York hall between US and UK special forces. Yeah Middleton lost it outside a nightclub and attacked a pair of copper's, got CS gassed in the end. He said he was finding it hard to adjust to life outside the army so kind of similar to Bellew adjusting to life without boxing.

People think "forces" guys are superhuman or something, I've seen a fair number of the laid out in bar brawl situations, my cousin is a marine and he got put in hospital by some big black fella who was just a street thug, he actually had a cracked vertebrae it was really serious. Being in the military does not give you superpowers, yeah you have more training and fitness than the average Joe but a gifted fighter will still beat any forces guy who isn't a gifted fighter People hero worship "forces" guys its pathetic. Are you implying John Fury is a gifted fighter? I don’t worship forces guys but wouldn’t say it’s pathetic. The SAS/SBS guys are a different breed though. Not really interested in this hardman, school playground chat but John Fury is an old bloke who isn’t particularly fit. Probably why he had to resort to eye gouging to win a fight.
