I haven't seen that fight in years. Maybe I've forgotten it but I dont remember augustus winning as many rounds as Castillo or hurting floyd as much as Mosley or corley

I do remember him being tricky defensively and having quick hands. Maybe I need to rewatch

No deductions or hard warning for excessive clinching, either. Floyd clinched like 5X in one round. And it wasn't during a heated exchange.

Get over it already man. Manny lost fair and square.

Well I'd have to sit down and go through it again, but I've seen it a quite a few times and Manny was clearly struggling to close the distance or connect. He was getting frustrated. I agree that Floyd early on wasn't doing a massive amount, but he was manoeuvring Manny, avoiding his his shots and often countering which was putting Manny off his offensive attacks. Floyd basically controlled the action and pace more often than not.
I'm not at all saying it was a landslide or one sided fight. It was competitive throughout, but as I say Manny was made to play Floyd's game. He had good success in pockets, but it just wasn't enough. By the last couple rounds Floyd was jabbing him at will and Manny had run out of ideas.

Didn't Floyd actually say Augustus was the toughest opponent he faced? Pretty sure I read that somewhere.

    Nope. Not even close.
Again (as with the Manny fight) I was rooting for Hatton against Floyd here. But the reality was he just clipped him slightly as Floyd was leaning back wards, so he fell back a little off balance. It was a nothing moment really, despite the roar of the crowd and the over excited British commentators.

I don't remember him ever "falling off balance" like that in his career. Apart from the Castillo touchdown.

Take a look, it's at the 19 second mark. In fact he doesn't even connect with left at all really.

Really? Well I've just posted the video and pointed to where this happens

Floyd was badly hurt by both Corley and Maidana. He was legitimately put down by Zab Judah (although it was a flash KD that wasn't counted and didn't really hurt - beautiful counter though from Zab)

Illegal IVs are fair? Seems like you have a hard time accepting that there was foul play.

No punch even connected. You are 100%. This is what is called clutching at straws to try and make it seems like it was a tough fight. The truth is Floyd cooked Hatton properly, seasoned him with sauce and put his lights out.

He never touched down against Castillo not a single time. I think you mean when his glove touched the canvas against Hernandez technically ruled a knockdown because he damaged his hand in the fight badly and was in serious pain.

He did say that but I would say Castillo nearly winning on the cards = tougher fight
