^^^ This. How many heavyweight are there that can box, punch and take a punch? They are pretty rare, aren't they? If you take out the old men, and the fat men in the top 20 who's really left that qualifies? I say name them. It will be a very short list. Hrgovic is on it. Enter Hrgovic, who's trains near me. I might stop by the gym and watch him work out for myself. The way he fights, he confronts his man, forcing action. At 6'6 with an 82" reach he's got the numbers most don't. A good body puncher too. Punches don't seem to bother him. I'd like to see him develop a counter and work a bit more off his jab which is quality but he's got enough right now in the developmental phase to win a belt. Once Covid-19 ends, he need to fight often, I don't care vs whom but ideally someone who's alphabet ranked.
Jalolov is a pro is is a big favorite. He should not be there. Let the amateurs have their moment. The top 6 in the field is very weak right now.
I see him as a better version of Parker. Weight. Height. Reach. Chin. Power. Stamina. Killer instinct etc.
Probably about as good as Parker. Everyone said how Parker would come on the scene and be a real threat to everyone like they are doing with this guy. Well Parker is just a solid guy who always loses when he steps up. Expect this guy will be the same. Unlikely to pick up a cheap world title though like Parker did.
We don't know Hrgovic, Makhmudov, Jalolov, these are the few who i think names from top 10 will avoid. At that moment, for me it's not who they can beat, it's who can beat them, i think only Fury and Joshua can, chances for others will be far less.
Thanks for the info Jalalov looks like a southpaw. That's scary. A 6'7 southpaw with power is a rarity.
Parker lacks a pair. He's a solid top ten guy, but I've seen him withdrawn from the fight too often Hrgovic is in there to win.
he shouldn't be going back to the amateurs though. He needs to start taking on top 20-30 ranked pro guys.
There is a problem. For a while Fury, Wilder and Joshua were not interested in fighting top ten contenders, at least those in their prime. Joshua did, the others, nope. Once Fury and Joshua fight, there won't be any more belts to milk. Contenders will have to fight each other for a shot. And the top 20-30 guys, who think Wilder or Fury might pick them for a title fight will be looking for other work and have to fight the young up and comers. Excessive belt milking with Wilder and Fury are guilty of has downgraded heavyweight boxing. With one removed and other other fighting Joshua, the BS is about to stop....I hope
