The highest ring IQ in boxing history. I don't think any other boxer had more tricks in their toolbox.
Floyd Mayweather's IQ both in the ring and in his business entrepreneur mindset is unparalleled. What he did with that is otherworldly.
Mayweather may be hated by many but he was a truly phenomenal boxer. His IQ is up there with the ATG fighters of the past.
Pacquiao is another master of adjustments. Dude got iced in 2012 and had to change up his style and still managed to dominate and beat world class fighters.
Must be the most adaptable fighter I’ve ever seen. Some serious focus to stick to his gameplan and adjust as he sees fit, fighting a perfect fight for 12 rounds without having mental lapses. It’s like the inverse of an Amir Khan.
I never thought that Floyd is going to come forward and trade his punch with his opponent but he did. I saw him doing this with Mcgregor and knocked him out. That surprised me a lot. So, I agree that Floyd is the Master of Adjustments. No doubt about it.
Floyd is a master baiter Floyd's greatest adaptation was when he moved up to 147 was picking the right fights and making sure everything was in his favor. Preservation mode whilst building a facade to retire on. The best adaptation in the first Maidana fight was paying off Maidana $1m to wear different gloves and threatening legal action should Maidana walk away from the fight which he was going to do. Nevermind the fact Floyd totally underestimated and overlooked Maidana's style of fighting because he was too busy jerking it over Khan's tears. Great fighters fight any time any place any where with no special dictations in their favor like Wlad and Floyd always had. Why am I ranting? - It's easy to give jerk Floyd off. Easiest thing in the world to do, but equally as much as we jerk off we should criticize and disseminate (inseminate?!) all the facts.
Wow what an amazing adjustment being able to come forward against a gassed out novice boxer in McGregor (sarcasm) get outta here. Floyd came forward a lot in his pre 140 days.
Baiting an opponent is a great tactic to draw their lead and Fury is the master baiter, 7 times a day, doesn`t get any wilder than that.
He didn`t actually look good coming forwards v Conor until Conor gassed, he did adapt better than Conor though but he is not great coming forwards.
