artur beterviev does not seem 6 feet

ruiz jr is 6 feet not 6 feet 2 inches

 

Ortiz also not 6'4

 

I never believed Fury is 6’ 9”.

 

Fury is more than 1 cm taller than Wilder.

Wilder is 199 cm. AJ 198. Fury 202.

 

Marvin Hagler was listed at 5'10". He may not even stand 5'7".

 

I thought he looked shorter but when stood next 6'1 Thomas hearns he wasn't as far off as I expected.

 

I think nearly every fighter adds an inch or two to their height.
I remember Rahman for instance going from 6'2 to 6'3 back to 6'2
James Toney being listed as high as 5'11 1/2 very early in his career the 5'10 and 5'9
Amir Khan 5'10 1/2 and 5'9.
Floyd 5'7 1/2, 5'8 and 5'9
Shane Mosley 5'9 even when 5'10 Winky Wright towered over him.
Chad Dawson at 6'1, 6'2 6'0 1/2
ad nauseum....................

Something funny though, there's only one fighter I recall being said he was consistently shorter. I can't remember who he was fighting but Manny Steward was completely befuddled commentating/talking about Paul William's listed height insisting there is no way he's only 6'1 he has to be at least 6'3

I've met Fury and he looked a good 6'9 in shoes to me.

 

Wladimir Klitschko always said he is 6 foot 5, but he is more like 6'6. He also dwarfs Foreman, who claims to be 6'4.
And a bit taller then AJ.
