I know that but Haye beat Valuev by out boxing him, so a direct comparison can't be made.

Hello. I think Nikolai would end up taking an increasing amount of punishment and the ref stops it.

An additional point: I see other people mentioning Haye and Chagaev. They won against Valuev largely by using movement, angles and out boxing him. They didn't stop Nikolai at all. He didn't lose by stoppage in his career, but there would likely be a first time for everything if he'd met 1974 George. Fights and match ups are different and Haye and Chagaev didn't have George's power. I don't underestimate Valuev's size and weight and Foreman got smarter in his comeback years as he got more experience under his belt. Imo, I think George would likely stop him later on, maybe rounds 8 or 9.

Lets give Nikolia a real shot here, Valuev has strength and size on his side by a large margin no one handled Valuev his size and brute strength is too much for pretty much every boxers ever truthfully to handle in the clinches and bullying department.

So George isn't outmuscling him or cutting off the ring with his vital man handling game and George isn't holding if he's hurt to any great effect if Valuev is looking for the KO...

Valuev is durable never hurt too tall to hit most times cleanly and when he is he hasn't ever looked remotely bothered... Haye landed and did nothing at all not on Foremans level of power exactly or aggression yet one cant help but wonder how durable he is for Haye someone who can hit to do virtually nothing to bother the giant.

I don't envision a knockout mostly due to the height disparity and George not being able to land consistently enough to make it count against the very durable Valuev...

Valuev has the right game plan to beat George aswell as all the attributes he doesn't mind being a punching bag giving up rounds or hiding behind his one two and gargantuan reach, perhaps to no effect other then to tire an opponent.

little by little Valuevs power and conservative style coupled with his durability and stamina will take there towl on a tiring George with every attempt to physically bully Valuev resulting in a frustrating hairy very tiring mess he could conceivably be stopped late quite a realistic outcome if we are honest.

This could be a recipe for permanent damage to Valuev. It would be a destructive beating. And Valuev's size and strength would only prolong the beating for a few rounds. Foreman leaves Valuev either knocked out, or a bloody mess in about 4 rounds.

You would see George giving massive amounts of body blows to the kidneys and liver. Wearing Valuev out and getting a stoppage.

Maybe Cus should have used professionally trained attack bears in his training of young Tyson.
