Loma might have won ten rounds on your card but he certainly didn't win them easily. And yeah, Loma could certainly outpoint corrales if he avoided his power but where you lost me is where you said lomas power is equal to pbf, jlc and casamayor. Never seen any evidence to support this, in fact quite the opposite. Care to elaborate?

He won 9 of them easily though. He had about 5 minutes trouble of 36.

Well he's consistently hurt and stopped world class opposition much bigger than him. Floyd only has 3/4 stoppages above 140. Castillo was a good puncher, and much bigger, but I think Loma is definitely the better fighter. Casamayor just isn't a puncher through and through.

He's stopped guys on accumulation and guys quitting on their stool like cowards. Floyd had serious pop at 135-130 and it carried up to 140 and he went on to stop Ricky hatton at 147. Loma does not have that kind of power he's already got his ceiling can't put away guys like luke campbell. Bottom line Loma is Loma would have to keep castillo/corrales off of him for 12 rounds. I can't see him doing that without the power to keep them honest

Floyd too big. He would stiff arm loma to keep him from getting inside that ridiculous reach advantage, then scrape him up with elbows if he somehow managed to get close. Floyd has faster legs that cover more ground, so loma would have the same problems Mikey had with Spence when trying to get the distance that’s favorable for what he does best.

You can't do that without power. I had to spell it out for you?

Floyd would never fight a prime version of Loma because he didn't do great fighters in their prime and obviously he's always struggled with slickness and that is indisputable. Paul Spadaforda totally embarrassed him behind closed doors with his speed and slickness, to the extent that he pulled a no mas (pulling a no mas in sparring ) and then ever so predictably proceeded to reel out excuses about not being in shape even though he was a self-confessed ''gym rat'' who was ''always in shape 24/7/365'' and whose dedication and commitment to training is the stuff of legend.

And he was so embarrassed by the absolute schooling Spadaforda administered to him he refused to allow outside cameras into the gym to film his sparring sessions for at least 15 years

The simple truth is, and I know it's far too painful for Floyd's doe-eyed fangirls to admit, Spadaforda was just way too slick for him. And it's hardly a coincidence that journeyman Emanuel Augustus' slickness caused him major problems too and ditto for Zab who took 4 rounds off of him.

I reiterate. Floyd struggles against slickness and he has done so virtually everytime he's shared a ring with someone who brings it to the equation.

    Another example.

We all saw what 0-0-0 boxer/MMA fighter Sugar ''Money'' Mac did to him with his slickness. The Flo-Emos were in full damage limitation mode after rank novice Sugar ''Money'' Mac schooled him for the first 4 rounds (and said schooling would've continued had the later not been training on whisky and class A and his gas tanks not completely depleted) and I don't blame them because that was super super embarrassing. The look of surprise and embarrassment etched on Floyd's face when Sugar was lighting him up with his slick counters and walking him into big uppercuts was plain to see and irrefutable and anyone who thinks Floyd with his planet-sized ego wanted to get hit with those shots and humiliated like that is either dumb as a box of frogs or lying to themselves as well as everyone else and you know I'm right.

But that was one of the oh so rare instances in Floyd's career where he was actually at a reach disadvantage albeit nowhere near the kind of disadvantage Loma has been at numerous times throughout his. In fact, I'll wager Loma has been at a reach disadvantage maybe double the amount of time down at 126 alone than Floyd has in his 50 fights combined (allow that sink into your abode), and in complete contrast to Floyd who virtually always has an advantage in that department sans maybe 2 or 3 times, Loma has only had a reach advantage twice IIRC.

Loma is simply way too slick, speedy and technically brilliant for Floyd who, as proven, always struggled against slickness.

And if we're going to try and discredit Loma for suffering a flash KD against the much bigger Linares after clearly becoming complacent in what was his fight at the weight and when he was fighting with a career-threatening injury from the second round onward, then let's not conveniently forget that Floyd was badly hurt by Mr KO 32% (lol) Chop Chop Corley of all people who weighed less than him not at least 7 or 8lbs heavier than him and a Mosley who wasn't on his concoction of power and strength boosting roids and his energy boosting EPO for that fight. Hence why his gas tanks completely ran dry after 3 or 4 rounds (EPO is very useful in that regard lol).

That PED free Mosley and C Level Corley came within a whisker of sparking him out and therefore surely those who are picking Loma to lose to even bigger punchers than Linares solely due to him suffering a flash KD against him will have been consistent picking Floyd to lose in match ups and hypothetical match ups against bigger punchers than both of them, right? Oh wait lol

WTF is that essay written a few post above?

I'm not even going to quote that nonsensical drivel.

The thread asked who would win at SFW- you know the weight division where Floyd is considered the GOAT at 27-0 with 20 KO's.

He wouldn't fight Loma? you do know he fought everyone at 130 lbs, right? Loma is smaller and has around a half a FOOT reach disadvantage. Give a master boxer a 2 inch reach advantage and he'll use every bit of it, give him 6+ and it'll be a long night for the smaller fighter.

There's not one thing- and I mean not one- that Loma does superior to Floyd at SFW. He is fast handed and has immense footwork but so does Mayweather. they're both excellent at angles. Floyd is stronger, put together terrific combinations and probably hits harder. lets not compare their defense either since it's oceans apart.

Fact of the matter is Loma is a natural FW and Floyd was a big SFW. A great small man isn't beating a great bigger man. Pacman will attest to that.

Don't forget 5' 4" Pac w/ a bum shoulder rocked a juiced Floyd to his core. Twice.
