Joyce work rate would overwhelm Ruiz , one thing people don’t study is Joyce has good footwork and makes it very awkward to gage his herky jerky style . People can keep bringing up AJ but when do guys start actually putting the fighters that fight and do that match ? Imagine if we based every fight on one loss ,how many People would look like they don’t even watch boxing ?
Hard one to call imo and very much depends what version of Ruiz shows up. Yh Joyce is a bit slow but does have decent movement and is heavy handed when he lands the big shots. Ruiz is always a threat if you want to come and trade inside, got some great hand speed in his range for a man of his body shape. Does carry a far bit of power as well if in his range. Would be a good match up well worth a watch

Nice too see you rate Joyce always like him a lot age is catching him up tho started his pro carrier late because of the Olympic team commitments. So for me unified champ might be pushing it a bit but definitely one a bit under appreciate
The only way a Walrus defeats a Polar bear is hoping it falls in the water where it would bludgeon it. But if it’s on land the Walrus has zero chance and that’s where Ruiz is fighting. They could put that fight on the discovery channel as a parody of a Walrus vs Polar bear for educational purposes , a slow torture of a polar bear trying to rip into the layers of fat on that animal would take quite awhile but in the end the Polar bear kills it . IDK people must lose a lot of money on here if they bet , I can’t imagine how they get Ruiz gets by Joyce who’s strength would be taking away from him and that’s slow plodding going forward where it’s like taking a mini van stick it in mud ,stab the tires which is Ruiz and put it against an on coming Fire truck at full speed and see what takes more damage .
