How does anyone not understand that Usyk is going to do great at heavy?

I'm far from the onliest one thinks them fights close, catch. But listen bro, the best cruiserweight division ever? Better than Holy, Qawi, De Leon? Oh, God no. Have you ever seen Holy/Qawi I? This was the Ali/Frazier III of the division's brief history. What skills on display from Usyk's opponents gonna come close to stuff like that? Nah, sorry. These guys have simple skills apart from Usyk who to me is sophisticated but in a wasteful way. It's just not that great even being a cruiserweight apart from that time, calling out best eras for that division is like saying what's the best era of the walking dead show. It's not been around THAT damn long, bro.

If Usyk can get over his injury problems he'll tear the HW division a new one. Only Fury would have the skills to beat him, and even then I'd favour Usyk unless Fury fights the fight of his life. Hunter just drew (some say beat) a top five HW in Povettkin but was made to run for his life against Usyk.

These big, plodding heavyweights like Chisora and Takam would be target practice for the darting destroyer, Joyce would get humiliated and punching air again, old Povetkin would get thoroughly outworked, Parker would get befuddled, Wilder would get destroyed (yes destroyed as in stopped), Whyte gets outpointed after running his mouth, Hunter we know what happens, Ruiz gets his grinning face punched in by a man he can't close down, Joshua has potential to beat him but I think he gets outboxed (unsure of this right now) and Fury potentially beats him in a rough, mauling fight where he looks the clumsier and less skilled man for once in his life but has enough size and physicality to trap Usyk and win rounds, but could also get outboxed and outworked down the stretch.

All depends on if Usyk can get back to form though. If he doesn't a lot of those fights could drastically change.

Agreed! The only one I say he loses to is Fury. The others he can out box and find ways to win. Too crafty and skilled.

Yeah, because of the extreme depth, it was the best ever. Qawi was nearing the end anyway. And it has been around for over 35 years now.

The point of the thread is that we have not seen anything like this before. This man is invading the heavyweight division already having had a number of credible pro fights at that weight which are simply not called as such. He has already been a successful heavyweight. But thanks.

Outside of Fury, who I already said he should avoid, there aren't any 6'9" guys in the top twenty. One of the biggest is Joyce, and Usyk beating Joyce in a WSB pro match is the first one I posted. So...

Invading? He moved up like a bunch of guys have before him. 35 years? HW division goes back to the eighteen hundreds! It's just not that important or relevant. Qawi was nearing the end? Some of the guys Usyk beat never had a beginning, and what was Bellew? Oh, man. My goodness. Invading! We've never seen it before! lol Okay, I'm in a fantasy world then but I've at least seen the Witherspoon fight and compared and contrasted it to Haye against Ruiz, Valuev, Barret, Chisora. Usyk's special invasion is not exactly settin my world ablaze my man. But I'm glad you like him. I like him too. I just don't buy the paper accomplishments. Broner's a four weight world champion by the time he fought Maradonea-on paper.

I think I am going to let you go. It has come down to investigating the word "invading," rather than looking at the fights that I have posted and observing how he has already beaten big, quality fighters in pro matches. Good luck to you, man. I have a feeling that if Fury gets the unification with Joshua, the WBO will strip and have a title match between Usyk and Parker. We will talk after that.

What I want to know is, is Usyk/Chisora going to be part of the Matchroom Fight Camp series?

If so, that fight could be only a couple of months away.

This. It looks like his lengthy amateur career is starting to catch up with him.

Usyk your man will get his ass kicked by those World HW Champions soon then he will go back to the CW Division again. Both Fury and AJ can send him back to the place where he belongs. Mark my words.:D

That Hunter win has aged really nicely.
