Ye but I did clarify there is a difference between actual age & boxing age. Tarver was fresher than most of them. Considering he turned pro much later. Fine if you think otherwise anyway, I just think Beterbiev is a better class of athlete.
Beterbiev was floored by Callum Johnson because he doesn`t move his head off the line after punching, he`s too open to counters to beat a guy with Tarver`s long fast counters.
“ doesn’t move his head “off line” .. that “ off line” phrase is just a buzzword that YouTube expEres came up with. I’m sure you know more about boxing fundamentals than Beterbiev learned in his 300 amateur fights... imbecile
Eric Harding's pressure had Tarver in big trouble down the stretch in their first fight. He dropped Tarver and broke both his body and his spirit and had him in contemplating pulling a no mas territory. Sure he improved and gained revenge in the rematch but that pressure caused him nightmares and Artur can bring that pressure and heat with interest and maintain it from first bell to last without any let-up. There's a world of difference between getting walked and broken down by someone who can't punch through cobwebs and someone who can punch holes in castle walls. The only two world class LHWs Tarver ever stopped during his heyday were Harding and Roid and one of them was packing old lady glass. But credit to Tarver for actually believing in himself, not falling for the hype and being the first to expose it (or rather the first in the pro ranks because John Reid had already done so in the ams). Tarver went life and death against Elvir Muriqi for goodness sake and arguably lost to him and he couldn't even stop Chinny Chad even though he had 24 rounds to do so. Artur would've sparked Chinny Chad out cold in a round from the wind of one of his bombs.
