Apparently negotiating to fight on one of Eddies back garden shows. Shocking fight I think Hughie would shut Dave Allen out over 12 rounds with one arm tied behind his back !
H fury is above British level now he should really be fighting fighting the likes of Washington/Martin
Possibly the worst stylistic match up anyone could possibly make at Heavyweight. It's a classic "matador vs bull" type of fight but in this instance the matador is pretty dull and the bull is like a mentally challenged bull who will just charge around non stop doing the same thing over and over... I wouldn't rule out a Hughie Fury stoppage here if he turns on the style and lets his hands go. It's probably my dark horse bet for that fight. There's not a hope in hell Allen is knocking Hughie out, Hughie's chin has been tested against Parker, Pulev and Povetkin. It's rock solid.
I agree with everything you say. However, Joseph Parker couldn't land a glove on him. I still give Hughie Fury that bout. I'd rather award points for soft punches and elusiveness over hitting thin air and looking generally clueless.
Awful fight, but at least Price won’t get hurt for once. Even Kash Ali was on the verge of splattering him until he imploded and bit him instead.
If this is the level of the main events for Fight Camp then they need to bin off the idea entirely. Mick would get stick for putting this on Channel 5 at this point. Fury needs to fight a European level fighter at this stage not Dave Allen.
Yes. I don't think David Price's chin is that bad that he'd get hurt in a fight between two other competitors.
I would LOVE this. Simply out of sheer morbid curiosity. Hughie Fury is verging close to Allen/Price/Browne levels of car crash tv.
I don't hate this fight at all. I don't hate hughie either, even if a couple of his performances have been boring, you can see there's talent there and despite it being a cliche it's true that he's relatively young for a hw. He gave Parker a close contest, was unlucky but brace against Pulev when the early cut put him on the back foot. He doesn't seem to have great power, but he has fast hands can move well and although he's dull as dishwater when talking, peter Fury is good value When interviewed. British boxing is better with the pair of them involved. Does anyone else feel uk boxing fans are maybe a little spoilt by the current era? Wind back a few years and we'd be delighted to have a hughie Fury to follow. If he makes some adjustments and can add a bit of power then. He could still be a factor.
