Tyson Fury, Dubois, Joyce, Tony Dosh PPV, Dullian Shyte will always be levels above this dross and even Pudding Chisora would still stop both.

This is a terrible fight. Can't say I'm excited to see Hughie dancing around tapping a live punching bag for 10 rounds.

Most of the time the most damage is done when it’s frequent blows, if you look at a lot of the deaths in boxing it’s come from sustained beat downs not just some one off massive punch.

 

If Chisora was free I’d stick Fury in with him- both are on about the same level.

Allen should chase the British Title and nothing else at the moment.

 

Allen can be involved in some good scraps at British level.

Fights with the likes of Hughie are just pointless, he'll barely lay a glove on him.

 

This will be dreadful to watch.

Should of put Hughie against a ranked opponent that would be his best win in either Zhang or Kuzmin.

Hughie had been mismanaged. Never beaten a top 40 opponents and 3 times put against a legit top 10 fighter and has been outclassed each time.

 

Doubt this fight gets made, surely Allen’s people won’t put him straight in against Hughie who will make him look even worse than he already is.

As for Hughie’s management I don’t mind it. Yeah they could have bridged the gap with more Euro level fights to build towards World level, but when the opportunities come you have to take chances.

All three of his losses were close in the betting pre fight against Parker was 50/50 and he was slight underdog v Pulev and Povetkin.

If he fixes that glaringly obvious telegraphed right he could be a top 10 HW in future.

 

Haha I was taking the mickey in regards to Hughie's power. You are right though. But yeah, as most people have said, this fight is a waste of time.

Not sure on specifics other than him recently signing with MTK and being trained by Jamie Moore.

Allen priced himself out of the Dubois fight last year and has since admitted basically that he’s not interested in fighting the top end of the division anymore think he’s just looking for a few easy paydays at this stage.

 

So did i. The crap thing is if Hughie Fury avoided fighting these top fighters and fought Dobios standard opponents most people would be raving about him.
