It showed Young could avoid much punishment, I'm not really sure how good of a light Young is shown in that night.

My point was merely that at least one person looked good that night.

It depends who the observer is.

Some people appreciate the spoiling style of fighters like Young, Abril, Galahad etc, I just can't stand it me.

I guess I would appreciate it then. Watching guys like Young and Terrell isn't always fun, but you have to give them credit.

Perhaps it is an acquired taste but I loved watching Jimmy Young! His nickname could have been “the clinic”!

I've seen better skill in bumfights than Corbett-Fitzsimmons.

Charles Martin v. Glazkov. A perfect mix of guys who weren't championship level, lack of action, and inconclusive ending.

Muhammad Ali versus Jean Pierre Coopman was a bit of a farce. On the other hand I did have Muhammad Ali! Alfredo Evangelista versus Muhammad Ali was also a farce and it had much less of the real Muhammad Ali.Pretty good evidence that it was time for him to retire.

this is a good example of a whole slew of alphabet “title“ fights in which you wouldn’t be aware it was a title fight unless you saw the poster.I can’t even consider these.

Yes, he's one of my favorites. I actually enjoyed his fight with Ali a lot. Watching him slip, roll, and duck so many shots. He was a great fighter.

You might know more than me, but you got nothin' good to say. You got no valuable input, you just try to get under everybody's shirts. Nobody even knows who you are or what you think about anything.
