    Imo Ricky Hatton

Honestly I did like Ricky coming up, and when he fought at sort of "EU level" he was very entertaining but when he went past that the wheels came off in a big way.

They picked Tzsyu at the perfect time, and that combined with the entire deck stacked in Hatton favour produced a memorable night.

But after that, meh.. We won't go into his losses but his second best win is probably a prime malinaggi who was decent at the time. He looked poor vs collazo and Urango and outside of Tzsyu there just aren't many memorable nights for a guy who was so insanely popular.

Again, I don't think Hatton was a bad fighter, I just never saw him anywhere near the P4P top 10, and at the time he was touted as a top 10 p4p guy and elite level and for me he was nowhere near it and just a solid world level guy.

He also looked poor against amateurish Maussa and shot drained Castillo really, jumping in and grabbing.

I liked the way he boxed against Eamonn Magee and Ray Oliveira. But I'd love to of seen him fight for Commonwealth and EBU titles in 2001/02 then face Harris, Cotto, Corley or Sharmba Mitchell in 2003/04 and actually defend a title.

Instead of manipulating the system using the WBU and MEN against subpar opp to cram in cash and go on the ****.

Anthony Joshua PPV by a country mile - hyped up as the next Ali in a very poor era of Heavyweight Boxthing but failed to clean out the puddings.

Only went into one fight with a serious bit of doubt pre fight about the outcome against the old robot.

Awful CV full of puddings, zero punch resistance, very poor stamina, broken heart, easy to hit, new Hughie Fury non combat style without skirt and much pain ahead for the cohort of PPV mugths believing in Big Eh Day's spin.

Just look at the awful last 2 fights should anyone have any doubt - being battered then running away from the Pride of Burger King for 12 rounds is probably the funniest thing I have seen in a boxing ring since Khan and Usman Ahmed were both chinned.

Audley Harrison. So much hype. Even when it was obvious he was not very good.

When people say Hatton is over hyped and to a degree he was there is always the problem in that he beat Kosta.
He then goes belt collecting which involves the messy and awkward Maussa fight which ended with a highlight reel KO.
Urango is a decent win that I don't think he gets much credit for, Malinaggi, Collazo - all decent wins- After Floyd people turned on Hatton massively for some reason but he was an excellent fight who probably tested himself to late.

So over rated maybe a touch - world class but not elite maybe? No shame in that. Fought abroad, got Knockeddown and won, couple of highlight highlight reel KO's not sure what more you could ask from a career to be honest.

Audley couldn't cut it as a pro despite the early hype.
Khans career is almost over and its been a bit of a disappointment -- Banjoed early He was doing well under Freddie i don't think Virgil Hunter was ever really the right choice for him.
    Junior Witter?

For me it has to be Kell Brook some obvious talent but he was supposed to be one of the best in the world- but fought nobodies for too long. Beat Porter and then nothing. Now looking at the end of his career with not much to show.

True tbf, a lot of casuals thought he was literally invincible, this geezer down the pub told me he was a "6'6" Mike tyson", another told me "anyone who stands in front if him for more than a second will be destroyed, its that simple"

That sort of nonsense abound with him, only to end up with one of the dodgiest eggy chins in recent memory and a seriously questionable ticker

    For shame

Don’t win an Olympic Gold Medal and win 3/4 of the world title being overrated, it’s okay to not have the 0 anymore, he’s not totally useless as a fighter

Most overrated was the title mate and even Puddings Stiverne and Charles Martin had World Title Belts in this era.

Never said useless but Tony Dosh PPV is simply another non elite World Champion Belt holder.

Eh Day Hearn can sell a parking ticket back to a Traffic Warden such is his world class selling skills.

He's not useless, he's got good height and reach, good power and does the basics well enough, but that's about where it ends

You have David Price, then Lennox Lewis with a gap in between.

Within that gap, AJ is closer to Price than he is Lewis.

Absolutely mate and that will become clear when he fights any of the top current crop - Fury, Wilder, Dubois, Joyce, Usyk, Bakole, Whyte 2 and I give Pudding Chisora a decent chance as well.

    Fowler.

Meets and beats Cans. SKY bum him. The next coming.

Meets Fitz who is off his head - re Lifestyle and Training.

Gets dropped in front of his home crowd after continuous mouth and subsequently loses.

A "Machine" dropped and beaten by a fighter who himself knows he can be at least 30% better.

Scott Fitzgerald - British 154 Champion and living Rent Free inside Fowlers head.
