Yeah but khan really didn't deserve the fight now did he? He got dropped in his previous fight up to that poll and looked horrible. Where as maidana came off a huge upset win over broner and had a belt. He was far more deserving as noted on this site when the poll was put up where maidana won. Pbf was dumb for making that poll in the 1st place khan is more known to casuals than maidana but on boxing forums maidana won the poll going away. Pbf should have fought khan since he won the general poll but he would have been bashed for it on boxing forums because he was not their choice.

Khan is a speedster who can be timed so easy. Just wait for him to rush in and catch him straight down the pipe. Crawford dropped him exactly because of this. He rushed in with no regard for defence and got clocked perfectly.

He threw that punch to where he figured Khan would have his head. Amir was not a difficult fighter to hit.

 

I think he should have fought him or Danny Garcia instead of Berto. I also think it’s an interesting fight, for the first 5 rounds. Khan isn’t anything spectacular, Mayweather would eventually land on that chin.
