Recently was watching Wilder vs Fury 1 with slow motion trying to count and evaluate every punch with the help of Boxing MMA Scoring app. Unexpectedly I had Wilder clear ahead. Fury was all fight inactive and was 2 times down. Could Wilder be robbed that night? This content is protected
The Action Points system is innovative and made me reevaluate the fight. I admit that initially I had Fury winning. But applying the Action Points system, something surprising happened. It turns out that because Fury was down twice, Wilder was active in those periods while Fury was inert, creating massive Action Point advantages in those moments. Also the dance Wilder did after the 12th round KD warranted even more Action Points. Ultimately I concluded that Wilder scraped by with a Majority Action Point win. Wilder MAP Fury
Wilder won the 2 rounds he knocked Fury down. Maybe you could give him another one but there's no chance he won that fight. In retrospect, it wasn't a very good fight except for round 12. Fury won clearly but his offense was limited, he was too defensive. The fight was kind of exciting live though, because of the threat of Wilder's power.
Ha-Ha, very funny Actually Action Points System is innovative indeed. It helps not only to count punches but also evaluate them. For example you can score jab with one action point and hard power punch with two, and the punch which causes spagettilegs even with three. In the end of the round you can compare Action points from both sides and see who has won the round. This System can solve the main problem - how to judge the first and primary scoring criterion - Clean punching (power versus quantity). You can also add Action point judging Effective aggressiveness, Ring generalship, Defence. All that you can do easily using an app.
Despite being put down in the 12th, it should be scored 9-8 in favour of Wilder. Fury took the round, even though he lost 2 pts for going down. Wilder knew he got out of jail, his reaction said a thousand words post fight, his face said the same post decision. It’s all about opinions but l don’t know many, if anyone that had Wilder winning.
114-112 Fury was my scorecard The impartial British judge having 114-114 a draw I can live with One Mexican WBC payed off corrupt judge stacking his card early for Wilder with 115-111 Wilder is BS.
I had Fury winning by 2/3 points. Wilder didn't land enough. I was actually at Staples and wasn't upset at the draw being announced. When I watched it back on TV, Fury was very unlucky not to be announced as the winner. Really enjoyable fight to be at.
