He kept losing without winning a rematch, he needed to rematch G\arcia before being allowed to fight Floyd, what an insult.

Khan had too many flaws to beat Floyd. He'd probably get dropped a few times en route to losing a wide decision.

A younger Floyd pushes for the knockout.

There was a reason Manny hesitated. That reason being Floyd's right hand.

Maidana is legitimately a tough guy as all his fights show especially the Broner fight and he is better than Gatti ( May his soul Rest In Peace)and tougher. I know for a fact that while Floyd was extremely fit as usual his mind/ concentration did wonder because of personal problems with his former fiancée Shantel Jackson re: losing the twins in pregnancy which Floyd thought was a miscarriage but found was an abortion. Size and speed are not problems to a supreme skills star like Floyd. Khan’s confidence in himself is part of his problem as it borders on delusion which makes him prone to getting knocked out by quality fighters.

    A boxing lesson?

    Ha!

He was cautious against a faded version of Manny who had shoulder surgery the following week.

Khan wasn’t anywhere near Manny’s level. But that’s not how boxing works is it.

Canelo is levels above Marcos Maidana, yet he gave Floyd a much tougher fight.

Khan had reach, speed and confidence.

Yes, of course he was a heavily flawed fighter and not on Floyd’s level.

Yes, he wasn’t on Manny’s level. But he’d have caused Floyd more trouble than what Manny did for sure.

    Styles make fights.

We all know why Floyd retired against Andre Berto.

He wasn’t going to fight a guy like Khan who had youth, speed, size and confidence, going into his retirement.

Here you go again with the ‘Mayweather haters’

You are so defensive of him.

    Khan won the online poll.

It would obviously have sold huge PPV in comparison to Berto.

Floyd did not want to be troubled going into his 49th and final fight.

He was never going to fight Khan at that point.

Andre Berto was the much safer option at that point.

Nobody is disputing this. But look what happened with Maidana.

    The guy is right.

At that specific moment in time, Khan would have troubled Floyd with his size and his attributes.

It wouldn’t have been a mismatch.

He’d have needed to have worked for the win.

The truth is, you and Pimp would just try and shoot down any opponent which was put forward.

    It doesn’t matter.

Canelo is 10 x the fighter than what Maidana was.

    What happened?

Yes, Manny was 10 x the fighter than Khan was. I agree with you 100%. But Khan would have given Floyd a tougher fight than what Manny did.

Well he won Floyd’s own online poll but Floyd ignored the results and fought Maidana and Berto instead.

    So I guess they’ve got a point.

Nobody was crying out for him to face Khan who made himself increasingly irrelevant. Test question when was Khan’s last meaningful win?

So ****ing what if Khan won an online polls. There were other online polls Maidana do bloody what. Polls don’t make matches just because Khan got his family members and friends to vote multiple times . I am not defensive on Floyd rather I play offense.

One thing about Khan is that he always seemed to be able to talk himself into big fights, whether or not he deserved to get them.
