If Ruiz could have fought any of Ali`s opponents when Ali fought them which ones could he have beat?

I thought that Karl Mildenberger gave Muhammad Ali one of his toughest title defenses in his first title reign on Sept 10 1966,. I watched it live on ABC's Wide World Of Sports that afternoon and Howard Cossel was being very critical of Ali's performance.

I was speaking about Ali reffering to his nickname, he was getting caught constantly by Karl that night.

You mean Mildy. He sure was getting caught in that fight, especially that Liver shot.

That`s a fair comparison actually except Ali threw more combo`s at Karl than Roy did v Griffin.

    Sonny Liston from the rematch!
That liston would probably have given up after 5 rounds of mauling by Ruiz.

He would have lost to everyone. Jerry Quarry would have ripped holes in his fat gut

Even Ali`s first 10 opponents?! WTF? Those guys were thin as hell Ruiz would have destroyed them, an old Archie Moore?

I am sure Ruiz would beat Moore, Foster, old Cleveland Williams, Wepner, Cooper, etc.

I think Ruiz gets outboxed by Quarry, worn down and stopped by Frazier's body attacks, outslugged by Foreman and Liston.

Ruiz-Shavers would be interesting. Shavers has the power but does he have the chin? I think Ruiz beats him.

    Lyle-Ruiz, I would favor Lyle.

Ruiz-Norton, if Norton fights smartly, he could decision him, but if he gets caught, its lights out for Ken.

I feel Ruiz would have done a lot better v the li that fought Lyle than Ron actually did in that fight, Ali didn`t look good in that bout at all and Lyle was pretty poor too, I agree with Ruiz beating Cooper, but they both had/have fast powerful left hooks, that would have made that bout interesting, AJ dropped Ruiz with a hook.

He did, but Ali was fighting scheduled 15 round fights every month on his European tour at that stage.
