I know. We all know. But the guy who posted it said it was 2011 and said how old Hrgovic was (in 2011). The guy who filmed it would probably know. Fighters use sparring partners for more than one fight. And, like I said, if it was that 2013 camp, I'd rather see footage of Hrgovic cutting Haye (which was the only significant thing that happened in that camp). Not the two sparring partners boxing each other.
Tom Little said Hrgovic hits harder then DDD ,Hrgovic is a triple threat, power skill and chin if you add in ring IQ it’s 4 . Wilder would lose to Hrgovic just about every single time without seeing a sparring footage video surface . If you negate Wilders size it’s already a knockout blow ,without being overly taller then his opponent he’s already going to struggle badly in a fight like this .
He did hit Stevern flush multiple times in the first. He hit Dupuah for the whole fight right on the button. His KO are mostly against C rated glass jaws.
Hrgovic has never seen the canvas in his whole life. Hrgovics chin was carved from the same granite as Vitalys was. Wilder and Joshua chin is made from the same fine China that made Michael Grant.
He forced Haye out of the Fury fight ,he was also Furys sparring partner for the Klitschko rematch . People that are acting like he’s a new comer who has little experience is way off the actual reality , he works behind skill then power unlike some power punchers that enhance they’re own knockouts by forcing them . Hrgovic is a Vitali like puncher ,some of his power is hitting guys off of angles they don’t expect but he’s very heavy handed .
Disagree. You can see what a guy has in sparring or at least get a good feel for it. This was a live session. Not a patty cake I’m working on this type of sparring. I hope Hrgovic fights Wilder next before Wilder is relegated as an easy guy to hit with MCI. MCI by the way = Major Chin Issues. Too many say glass jaws these days. I do plan on seeing Hrgovic spar live in Miami. I’ll offer to hold the heavybag to see what he’s got. If I’m feeling strong I might even opt to put on gloves and lightly spar. On second thought, that might have been something I might have tried 15 years ago. Fans have no idea how hard some of these heavyweights can hit.
I agree. Hrgovic biggest weakness is athletic arrogance which stems form being too strong and durable for most. He has a good but not great jab which he can set things up with. He needs to work on that plus add a counter shot as he’s so aggressive counter shots can land. He doesn’t seem to care about it. If he had a legit counter that’s a built in defense once someone gets hit with it. A very understated part of Hrgovic’s game is accuracy.
Ok, so had Wilder been concussed by a punch in the last 72 hours? Can you prove that he hadn't? How many rounds had Wilder done the day before? Was it 17? Can you prove that it wasn't? At what stage of his camp was Wilder at relative to Hrgovic's fitness? No idea? Ok then. Was he working on slipping and ducking that day and told to go at 75% in order that his opponent wouldn't become discouraged? Can you prove that he wasn't? No? Then draw all the conclusions you want, but they are unarguably flawed.
This clip doesn't mean much. David Haye claims that Wilder was extremely tough in Sparring and he even with his own power was unable to rattle him much as he kept coming back at him.
