He may be more talented than most of the guys Lennox fought but there's no way Fury stays on the straight and narrow for 10 plus years. He'll lose focus and get beaten at some point.

Fury is a great fighter with suprisingly fluid movement for his size.
He beat Wilder and will probably beat Joshua, however......
Lennox Lewis was a world class boxer with a fight ending right hand.
Equal or better boxing skills and a bigger right hand.
Fury would have a really tough time beating Lewis. I don't think he would.
As for the other guys. Fury would have a solid chance to beat any of them.

I think prime Wlad beats Fury,
LL definitely KOes him and Vitaly possibly beats him. Not sure about Golota since he was not very stable.
If Fury beats Joshua and a string of ring top 10 fighters we can compare him to ATGs. At this point his resume is not that good.

Lol please. Steve cunningham had fury flat on his back. Tua connecting one time would have knocked his head off his shoulders

As much as I love Tua. He would have never landed a single punch on Fury.

    It’s not a fact.

    I’m a huge fan of Tyson’s.

I think he could have beaten all of Lennox’s opponents on his best night. But could he have replicated his exact timeline?

    That’s a different thing altogether.

    What about the ages?

    Is it a direct comparison?

Would he be fighting Vitali Klitschko at 37/38 like Lennox?

    He’s only 31 now.

We don’t know if he’ll be fighting in his own career at that age.

But he wouldn’t always have been prime.

Would Rahman have knocked out Lennox had he have been fighting to his full capabilities?

Tyson is in his prime now, but we’ve seen him struggle with guys like McDermott etc.

You have to factor in that Lennox was 37/38 against Vitali.

It’s easy to just picture Tyson at his peak fighting all of those guys. But it would have been very difficult git him to have followed the same timeline.

For all we know, he might have been beaten by one of Lennox’s non elite opponents. We don’t know.

    Bingo.

This is what many people are overlooking.

Following the same timeline would have been very difficult.

Well that's a crap argument, Wilder & Wlad both hit much harder than Cunningham hence they take Furys head off too..

Tua got stood on his head versus what was basically a small version of Fury in Chris Byrd. Fury would school Tua. Tailor made for him..

The boxer usually beats the puncher. I don't see that being any different here.

    That’s what I’m thinking.

Lennox fought until his late 30’s.

    He had 44 fights.

Will Tyson have 44 fights in his career?
