    Oh yeah, wow, that's crazy. I think Sugar Ray represents the reverse case as he fought in March '97 but got inducted three months later (June '97). But he was announced a HOFer Dec. '96 which meant he just made it. Does this sound right?

    Yeah I believe he was officially inducted after fighting Camacho, although his induction had already been announced a few months before the fight. So technically he was a Hall of Famer when he set foot in the ring.

    So I was referring to IBHOFers only, maybe I should have specified, because Quarry is in the WBHOF, not the former. Foreman and Palomino actually didn't fight after their inductions, but I had to double-check, good guesses!!
