I'll never understand why Wlad didn't fight Stiverne for the chance to become undisputed.

How much of a chance would Stiverne have had?

I'm 90% sure that Klitschko wins by knockout around rounds 8-10.

He had a mandatory fight with Kubrat Pulev he had to take care of.

By the time he got back in the ring after that win, Stiverne had lost to Wilder.

Wlad by UD or late stoppage.

Stiverne never recovered from that Rhabdomyolysis illness when Deontay beat him for the title.

Wlad had no ranking at the WBC unbelievably. Did not bother to pay his fees when brother Vits was the man.

Wladimir would outbox and then knock out Stiverne who would have absolutely no chance against Wladimir...

Well why would he? He wasn't gonna be fighting the champion when it was his brother, so there's no reason to pay the fees.

From what I remember Wladimir did pursue a fight for the WBC belt when his brother retired, which would of been against Stiverne.
The WBC did not allow it though, and Wladimir pursued other fights.

Yeah but he could have had a heads up Vits was retiring and been in place to fight Buffet or Arreola.

Better question is why didn't Wilder fight Wlad? He had plenty of time to do such.

You can’t be ranked in the WBC if you are a champion in another sanctioned body .

It’s actually why didn’t he fight Vitali if he was a WBC ranked guy all that time . It would have been much easier going for a guy with no multiple mandatory challengers. The answer would be Shelly Finkle anyway , he wasn’t going to let his baby take on either Klitschko .

Pretty sure Wlad would have won this one. Good points win or a possible stoppage later on.

Don King did not allow it , he protected Stiverne as much as Finkle protected Wilder .
