Floyd was always better than Oscar at everything in boxing. Please name anything Oscar did better. You are a good guy Loudon but I am going to really enjoy schooling you on this one.
The post was based on them fighting at 140 pounds hence I referenced all performances against world champions at that weight including Corley.
Never said he was I am referencing Floyd’s performance to win the title at 140 pounds multiple weight popular world champion Arturo Thunder Gatti was in the other corner and reigning champion.
Back in the real world, which the rest of us call earth: Oscar was 34 years of age. Not 33, but 34. Floyd DID NOT kick Oscar’s a$$ when he was 34 and he’d been inactive. Yet, you want us to believe that he would have done had he have fought a younger, sharper, faster, prime, more active version? Ha! No.
I am extremely familiar with Oscar’s career. He is the equivalent in Cricket of what we call a flat track bully. At a certain level he looks phenomenal like the greatest thing since sliced bread but when you match him at true elite level in a 50:50 not only does he tend to lose his performance levels recede which indicate a flaw in his ring intelligence and ring generalship and IQ. When Floyd was fighting once or twice a year he never had to make such excuses. To prove my point about Oscar in his 50:50 fights look at his performances not just the results against Pernell Whittaker, Ike Quartey, Felix Trinidad, Vargas, Mosley, Felix Sturm, Mayweather and Hopkins.
Yes I have. I make a judgment based on all of his fights and Oscar’s at 140 not just the best performance.
Your excuses are what is cringeworthy! He could not be beaten so you guys create fantasies in your mind. In my mind I could make a case for you beating Floyd then thankfully I would wake up from the delusional dream.
