Vitali was 29 years old with 26 fights under his belt. WBO champ and ring ranked no7

Byrd was 30 with 30 fights ,a late sub and was unranked.

Tough one. If Holyfield bought educated pressure against the bigger man , with similar tactics to the second Lewis fight (obviously he’d be younger than when the actual fight took place) he’s got a chance to take a close decision.

Lewis improved because he got a better trainer.

Thanks Mcvey, we know his math is never right but he did save me some typing. Appreciated. As usually I set you up for a for a counter left hook to an ungraded chin. A guilty please of mine as you are badly outmatched. I'm going to use your own data, which we know is wrong but what the heck.

According to you Holyfield fought the following opponents who were currently ring ranked ( According to Mcvey )

    AND

    Valuev - Lost
Douglas - Douglas showed up fat and didn't even try to get up
Bowex3 -1-2 got his rear end kicked, lucky to win the 2nd match due to the 17 minute break
Foreman - beat a 42 year old man
Dokes - Low blow fouls taints this win.
Thomas - Was not rated in Ring Annual magazine, 1988, 1989. Coming off a KO loss in 1987, show me where he when he was rankled.
    Moorerx2 1-1
Toney Lost, KO'd by a middle weight.
    Byrd - Lost
Ruizx3 Ranked 2001 no7 1-1-1...vs Ruiz! Not sure if he was ranked both time in 2001.
    Lewis x2 Should be 0-2. Officially 1-0-1

Just seven wins over ranked opponents, and I'm giving you Thomas, though that one could be wrong.

    5 Best Ranked opponents fought

    Lewis 0-1-1
    Bowe 1-2
    Moorer 1-1
    Byrd 0-1
    Ruiz 1-1-1

CASE CLOSED. Unless Holyfield fans want to start makin' excuses. There you have it. Vitali gets 3 wins against Ruiz, would have beaten Byrd in a re-match, KO's Moorer twice, would win at least one vs Bowe, probably two. As we saw he was up vs Lewis who never gave a re-match. *** Let's not forget Holyfield was a PED abuser, without this edge he might have lost another one. ***

You think he naturally physically matured after he was 29 years old?

Which of the two Klitschko or Holyfield was caught taking steroids?
    I'll give you a clue,he was Ukrainian.

There are newspaper reports of Thomas having been rated at Number-8 by Ring Magazine, in both November and December of 1988.
