Jab, size, power all go to Oscar. 3 of the biggest advantages one can have. Actually size is probably the biggest advantage you can have in the boxing ring. You're underestimating how difficult to beat a guy who has a much stiffer jab, bigger than you and punches harder.

Losers make excuses. Before the fight they are in the greatest shape ever. Freddie Roach trained him for 1 fight he lost to Floyd hardly makes him an expert on Oscar’s capability. If Oscar has been serious he would have begged the best trainer he ever had by his own admission Big Floyd to train him.

Big deal I said he was 33 but he was 34 so what 1 year. Floyd was 30.

Are you seriously telling us that if Bernard had dropped an extra 2 pounds and called out Floyd at JMW, that Floyd would have taken the fight?

    Haha!

The same guy who wouldn’t even fight Canelo at 154?

You are absolutely deluded. You must have taken copious amounts of LSD before you logged on here. You must be flying high.

Seriously now, what planet are you on?

On what planet would Floyd Mayweather have agreed to have fought Bernard Hopkins???????

    It wouldn’t be this planet.

    Haha!

Floyd might be a better P4P fighter. Sure. But in a H2H fight?

    PLEASE!

Floyd wouldn’t have fought Bernard Hopkins for a billion dollars.

If you’re seriously telling me that Floyd would have taken that fight and beaten Hopkins, then you literally need to be put in a straight jacket for your own safety.

I don’t even think Pimp would say something as ridiculous.

Since when is beating someone 9-3 or 8-4 struggling? For anyone else that's a clear win but because it's pbf it's struggling. Just goes to show you how great pbf was since he's held to higher standards.

Thanks Pimp C I could not have said it any better. These guys want to overrate Oscar. Like I said previously if you want to beat Floyd in a hypothetical match up then do it against true great fighters not Oscar. You will get some deluded people who thought Oscar could beat the likes of SRR, SRL, Hearns, Benitez and the like. Some of his fan boys probably think he would have beaten Duran can you imagine such idiocy?

Hopkins did not offer to come to 154 he wanted Floyd to come up. Like I said if he fancied his chances he could have offered to come down and get his arse taxed.

No it's not. Power is overrated and can be neutralized or you can handle it. Oscar having a better Jab is debatable as well pbf has an elite level jab his jab to the body is without peer. Sure oscar is taller and has slightly longer reach but pbf already showed you how to defeat oscar's jab when will you realize this?

Things like the ability to make adjustments are more important than power ring generalship is more important than power. Oscar isn't knocking pbf out it's almost irrelevant when discussing this match up.

That’s not even the funniest part.

The funniest part is envisaging Floyd actually signing the contract to face him.

Apparently, Olu and Pimp are ready for us all.

    Haha!

The guy wouldn’t fight Canelo at 154 would have fought Bernard and kicked his a$$?

    Wow!

I’m just at a complete loss.

Like Floyd said he may be bigger, he may stronger, he may hit harder, he may be faster but is he better hell no. So many people who want to fight think they are super strong, think they are super fast etc but once they get in there they find it’s not as easy as it looks.

    Haha!

He wouldn’t even have dreamt of fighting Hopkins at JMW.

    Stop.

How can we debate you when you think that Floyd would have beaten the version of Bernard that Oscar fought?

On what planet could Bernard have made WW?

But Floyd should make Middleweight should he when the most he has ever weighed have had a full meal is 150 pounds. When he fights at 154 it’s essentially a catch weight fight.
