Awesome video. Unfortunately in fear he started way too late and his career got stalled out way too much for him to ever make and leave the impact he had on boxing. Shame really.
He's probably the best fighter in the world p4p. After what he did to Gvozdyk I got to give to him. Nothing he does is flashy. He's just incredibly strong and deceptively skilled.
Physically he might be the hardest man in boxing since Marvin Hagler. I'm not even kidding. He's like a piece of iron. He doesn't even look like a man.
I still can't believe what he did to Gvozdyk. The Nail is naturally a CW and could easily and successfully fight at HW. And he got pieced the **** up. The Nail even landed a picture perfect combo right on Beterbiev's chin, all the weight of both fighters were into it, boom, it barely registers, Beterbiev's leg buckled for a quarter of a second, and he just continues marauding forward. It was amazing. Gvozdyk's spirit understandably shattered right at that second. He lands the nuke of all nukes and it doesnt even deter him. Lol damn man I'm glad im not in there with him.
Let's see him fight a puncher before we crown him. Remember when Inoue fought Donaire.... AB has been hot & cold, he should have been here years ago but whatever beter now then ever I guess but wait for his first title defense
I think Gvosdyk is being overrated. His Defence wasn't that good, his positioning wasn't very good. He didn't look that good versus until Stevenson gassed due to being an old man. I love Beterbiev however he was landing at a high connect percentage people seem to hate on him a lot saying he had 0 chance and he'd be knocked out easily. Gvosdyk knocked out Gonzalez and even the mods were saying Beterbiev would do no better it was puzzling. He's def good def top 10 for now.
Gvozdyk is the favorite to beat any man from 175 on down in the world besides Beterbiev. He can box a tad bit.
he was down on the cards with stevenson who was shoot at the time of the fight sure he battered him in round 11. but 1-10 Stevenson was getting the better of it and this forum seemed to always think Adonis sucked, is he all the sudden a better fighter?
