Let’s suppose that Bernard wasn’t drained and it was the version that Oscar fought. (apart from being 2 pounds lighter)

No. Round 3 is the round that Mayweather started to attack DLH's jab which was scoring and disrupting his rhythm. That jab was Oscar's bread and butter but it was taken away from him by the ingenuity of his opponent.

What did Oscar do to keep the close rounds that competitive?

Shut it you demented fellow. Bernard Hopkins is beatable and has been beaten several times fact. Is he better than Floyd a big No is the answer. If he could physically come down to Welterweight or Junior Middleweight Floyd taxes his arse. Just because Oscar could not do it does not mean anything. Oscar is not Floyd that is for sure.

    Is that all you’ve got?

Bernard has been beaten several times?

    Ha!

    Who by?

That is evidence to you that Floyd would also have beaten him?

    SMH.

I’ve already agreed that Floyd is a better fighter.

    It doesn’t matter.

It’s how they would have matched up stylistically.

Roberto Duran was a much better fighter than Roy Jones.

It doesn’t mean that he’d have beaten him in a H2H fight.

Floyd Mayweather would not have beaten a healthy version of Bernard Hopkins at JMW.

You must be smacked off your tits.

He wins more than likely he's much bigger than pbf. If they were the same size i would favor pbf though.

    That’s right.

Floyd is clearly the better fighter. But Floyd obviously peaked at the lower weights and Bernard was a big MW.

It would have been an unfair match up.

Yet Olu says that Floyd would have beaten him and kicked his arse.

We all know how much you love Floyd, but at least you’re reasonable and realistic.

He was a monster down at 147 and 154 and even up at 160 his power was still impressive. He didn't look physically imposing at all but when he landed those bombs they did serious damage.

Mayweather was a beast at 140 but DLH was also a beast only difference DLH was bigger, I'll give the edge to DLH .

I agree with Oscar having the advantage at the higher weights. I don't really want to use their fight as an example of why Floyd would win in their prime. Oscar was 34 and way past his best. Oscar came out looking better there anyways.
Floyd looked his best at 130 imo.

Yes the key to beating Tito was not to let him land with his power.

If he comes down to Floyd’s weight Hopkins gets beaten.

Certainly disproves any BS theory that Floyd can’t take a punch because Mosley landed 2 Haye makers that would have floored others but Mayweather though shaken took it adjusted then dominated Shane.

Obviously that’s your prerogative but I am certain Floyd kicks his arse at 140 pounds.

It’s pretty clear to me that Floyd Mayweather only loses in hypothetical matches as in 50 professional bouts he won 98% of the time comfortably:

Mayweather is often referred to as the best defensive boxer in history, as well as being the most accurate puncher since the existence of CompuBox having the highest plus–minus ratio in recorded boxing history. Mayweather has a record of 26 consecutive wins in world title fights (10 by KO) 23 wins (9 KOs) in lineal title fights, 24 wins (7 KOs) against former or current world titlists, 12 wins (3 KOs) against former or current lineal champions, and 3 wins (1 KO) against International Boxing Hall of Fame inductees.

Case closed. The detractors and haters can come up with their **** but they can never take away his records which are cold hard facts.

God made nothing perfect except for Floyd Mayweather’s 100% boxing record.
