His crutches are his made up excuse to not get too involved in the protest(riots) wants to play both sides as usual same as his speech to them which is alright apparently as someone else write it
Why was he going back and refusing to move from the ropes then? Then when the ref had had enough of asking him to fight he gave it the old fake "ohhhh no, ref, what you doing!"
He came forward and then the ref put his hands on his shorts and pushed him back a little. AJ presumed he was gonna pop his mouth guard back in but instead he called it. It was a miscommunication. If he wanted to quit he would have just stayed down wouldn’t he.
I think he quit. Or maybe better put he let the referee stop it. He had enough. I'm not a Brit and having nothing for or against AJ. I'm just a longtime boxing fan and it looked to me that he quit or at least willingly went along. He came back though. He retooled and showed his discipline, boxing skill and ability to adapt in the second fight. He will ultimately be judged by what he does from here on out.
He was up fine then turned his back on the ref and walked all the way over to the ropes for no real reason. Refused to turn around first and then refused to come forward when the ref said "come on let's go". He wasn't for moving. Just standing there refusing to fight is the same as quitting because you know the ref is going to call it unless you come forward. He pretended that he'd not heard all the commands of the referee and tried to have a massive conversation with him over it. In summary, he QUIT.
Fury would beat him with whatever style he chooses to adapt. You say Fury would stop him "If" AJ gasses, well you should know that he gasses at the thought of gassing. Fury in 8 for me, either by stoppage or his corner pulling him out.
