I don't think that's much of a rebuttal. Virtually every expert and most fans saw the first GGG-Canelo fight as an egregious robbery. We'll agree to disagree.
I'm curious about how one earns an "expert" credential in boxing and supercedes the scoring of ringside judges who are trained to score fights.
Do you really believe that corrupt judging does not happen? Do you really believe that Holyfield-Lewis 1 was honestly seen by the judges as a draw? I understand that scoring is subjective. I have no issue with someone scoring Canelo-GGG 2 in favour of Canelo. It was extremely close and could have gone either way. Therefore, i understand subjectivity. I can see with my eyes that some judges are clearly watching another fight. Corrupt judges have always existed.
Most supposed robberies are just fan favoritism and failure to score based on clean, effective punching. It's no surprise that everyone on this board wanted GGG to beat Canelo and Kovalev to beat Ward. Digging up a robbery from over 20 years ago is not a solid way to prove a point.
Moorer stopped him. MM was a banger at light heavyweight. It took him a few rounds to figure Stewart out but then he was a done deal. I would not put too much into it.
