The 5' 1'' monstrosity, that the top heavyweights were terrified of!

Not objecting or challenging the claim I'm just curios who was actually scared of Joe? he is a personal hero of mine and one such common example i use for short younglings at my gym to show there is hope, knowing the names of big men who ducked him would make my charming tale more concrete.

I think its a bit overstated. How did he do against the heavies he fought?

You don't think the top heavies ducked him either? it sounded like quite the fictional statement.

They maybe ducked him because they had nothing to gain from fighting him,and if they looked bad against a 5'1" welter it would have done their reps no good.I think there is an element of that in why Dempsey wouldn't fight Greb,it was a no win situation.

Yeah, so scared it took lightweights and welterweights to beat him.

Walcott fighting the present giant Heavies would be comedic, Tyson Fury would have a bad case of backache bending to hit Walcott, with Walcott headbutting Furys nuts as he ran through his legs.

Walcott sure was a mini phenom.

Reports say he only stayed at MSG for a month then took off, some 3 yrs after this video Walcott lost his life getting struck by car at night, he was buried in a unmarked grave for 20 yrs until his resting place discovered by a boxing fan who raised money for a simple but permanent gravestone.

Looking at his physique i'm sure if he was fighting now, there would be folk saying he was 'on the juice' .
