Wilder matched Fury`s jab in their first clash, Fury would have boxed Smith`s ears off, Bruno was out-boxing Smith before gassing.
Fury only landed 85 punches, mostly jabs and Wildr landed 75 mostly jabs, Fury was very wary of Wildr`s counter jab early on, it was a negative fight until the knockdowns.
Ruddock went 7 and 12 rnds. with Tyson, many of those rnds. with a badly fractured jaw. Wilder would be lucky to go 7 and 12 minutes, let alone rounds against the Iron Mike who brawled it out with a much bigger guy with a ludicrously powerful left hook/upper cut hybrid and a usually stout chin. We all know that Wilder can't fight backing up and that's exactly what Tyson would do right from the opening bell.
If you rewatch those fights it’s correct Tyson was pressing forward as usual but also you’ll see Ruddock throwing nice uppercuts hooks and combos. He did get his jaw broken in the second fight and fought the majority of the fight with it. While I can’t knock Wilder for bravery or balls because any man who fights in a ring or cage has balls I just don’t know if he has the fortitude to hang with a killer like Tyson. Lennox said it perfectly that Wilders never been in with someone who is really trying to hurt him badly, Fury brought the fight to him and we know how that played out. So I did see similarities in Ruddock and Wilder but I actually think Ruddock was the better skilled of the two.
Riblta .with more power would be a good fight .Wilder is nuts so I doubt he would be frightened even if he should be.
Fury won 10 rounds and easily outjabbed wilder I’ve watched the fight many times you won’t be able to change my stance on this matter
