Would Rocky be good enough to overcome the jab, size and strength of a prime Bruno?

I really don't know. If Frank came out and put the pressure on Marciano. Why couldn't he stop Rocky? That is a big size difference.

Bruno busts him up with the jab and closes the show in round 7

Rocky doesn’t make it to the 7th I think Frank KO’s him in round 1 or 2

Agreed. Bruno is simply to big. I also think Marciano loses to Ruddock, Big Cat Williams, Lyle, etc. It's not that these men were greater per se, but rather to big, to skilled, to much. The sport has unfortunately evolved from times where a 5'9 slow, crude, cut-prone, 180 pounder with a heart of Gold is able to rule the Heavyweight division.

Marciano was an undefeated heavyweight from way back

Big Cat Williams was knocked out by Bob Satterfield who was 176 pounds in their fight. I may favor LHW version of Spinks (before he bulked up) to beat Williams. I'd definitely back Marciano to stop him.

How old was Cleveland Williams in that fight? And how many days did he have to prepare? When I listed Cleveland Williams, I was referring to the prime version late 50s to early 60s, not the 20 year old green fighter who'd yet to fully mature. Obviously, he'd be no match for Marciano at that stage. Using that version of Williams to equate that to what would happen in a prime for prime scenario is as disingenuous as it gets.
And that is relevant how? I get the feeling that this is sour grapes stemming from last time, you posted this match up with a heavyweight Spinks, Williams was the overwhelming favorite (much to your dismay)
Marciano didn't have the power and boxing skills of Liston, nor the elusiveness of Terrell and Machen who were the only men to beat or trouble Williams remotely close to his prime. It's OK to pick Marciano but certainly not with your non-objective reasoning.

Yes, key words WAY BACK when a light heavyweight was considered a legit heavyweight, yeah he was undefeated but often took beatings and got dropped (by other small men) to get the win. If he were fighting Bruno he would simply be too small

The size difference is what is being overlooked.

Marciano is in complete unchartered terretory. Not only is Bruno 225-250lbs of solid muscle. He's also athletic, 6'3 with an 82 inch reach.

You have to theorise Marciano bulks up like Jones Jr or Adamek or Spinks or Toney etc

It's why I don't like comparing post 70s boxers with pre 70s boxers

This is the thing I don't get about boxing debates such as these. In fantasy land all sorts of constraints are placed upon the boxers.

In real life, when I guy is fighting with a much heavier opponent they tend to put weight on, but no one ever let's Marciano do that.

If Golovkin moved to LHW for his next fight I'm pretty sure he wouldn't still weight 160 pounds.

When Usyk bagn fighting heavier opposition he didn't limit his weight to below 200.

If its insisted upon to Marciano is not allowed to gain weight, it gives an unfair advantage imo.

But under those constraints here's what I do know.

He knocked out Johnny Shkor. The man was 6'4 and 220 pounds. So the argument "too big" doesn't really count as he proved he could beat a bigger man. Which means you then have to look at style and how you envision the fight playing out.
