Some sympathy for him but at the end of the day, Whyte had the chance and should have taken the golden goose Joshua fight at Wembley last year and a shot at three major unified belts.

Whyte always wanted to go the Wbc route. I can't see him beating Joshua or Fury. Way too many weaknesses, done very well to get past Parker and Rivas. Overachieved.

Whyteleafe turned down the Ortiz fight and supposedly turned down the chinny racist rematch (although it was likely an Uncle Tom slave contract on offer from team AJ)

He’s happy to call out everyone then fight shot old midgets like povetkin and chisora and that tattooed Australian member Lucas Browne.

Guy went life and death twice with the shot to pieces version of an old delboy chisora who was schooled twice in his absolute prime by a green Tyson fury and he thinks fury is ducking him?

Whyteleafe is a terrible boxer with a marketing machine in the UK which has told people repeatedly he is world class. Much like his stablemate the superior racist.

He's had chances, needs to understand you take what you can get to force the issue (Ortiz / Pulev) and when he actually got offered the shot vs AJ he made all the excuses. **** money? More than what AJs last few challengers got.

The WBC have shafted Whyte. but as mentioned he has had multiple other changes to progress to world title fights and has declined them. He/Sky/Hearn are good at keeping the 'he will fight anyone' he has been waiting so long for a world title eg. He plays victim well, as in meantime he is regularly picking up 7 figure paydays. If he fights the divisions best and gets flattened these paydays will end quickly for him.

It's a shame Whyte's maximum violence run for 2020 has been put on hold over Covid-19, however whoever wants it (once Covid-19 dies down a lil) CAN GET IT!

I was shafted myself on these forums when I postulated that Whyte could beat Joshua in a rematch... got laughed out with my breakdown analysis... lo' and behold... Joshua got exposed and now it's not such a crazy thought!

On point Whyte can beat Ortiz, Wilder and Joshua. He'd struggle against Fury and would need a solid gameplan for a win, but the beauty is Whyte's team and trainer have consistently put out good gameplans as they conquered so many different opponents and worked on many things that showed on fight night... except for that amateurish shoulder roll he tried doing against Wach in prep for Wilder LOL... no Whyte... just.... NO!

Whyte deserves his shot but realistically has no chance whatsoever against Fury.

Would still rather see it than Wilder III.

At the end of the day, he had the opportunity to fight Joshua again for multiple titles on the line.

Turned down the opportunity to be a world champion to fight on PPV money, end of.

The sad reality is, If he had fought Joshua and lost again he'd of probably rebuilt to be in the position he's in now.

I've no problem that he's in it for the money, he had a choice though, legacy fight or money, he chose the latter.

You hear fighters say all they want to be is world champion. All dillian talked about was % in rematch clause if he won.

He had every right to talk about the purse percentage wouldn't you agree? The terms were a bit of a disgrace. So aye, he did get a shot but at the same time it's his livelihood.

Yes but the fact he could expect to fight for the WBC soon would have factored into his decision making.

To an extent it’s bad luck with the coronavirus.

You could also argue that he should be serving a ban for failing a doping test, so it’s karma.

I personally think he was mid-cycle for the proposed AJ fight date but obviously have no evidence to support that.

    Shitty for Whyte I suppose

I'd rather see Fury-Whyte than the Wilder rubber match but it's in the contract so I kind of get it. He can ****ing wait if it means Fury-AJ after though, can't pretend to care otherwise.

Whyte made the wrong decisions simply as that, nobody gives a **** about his shot. He should have taken the Joshua fight, boxing moves fast he is not a priority now.

Whyte hasn’t had much luck with the wbc, the drugs/rivas thing has a lot to do with it and the interim title they fought for went straight to the wilder/Ortiz winner.

he was given the chance to go over and fight pulev for the ibf eliminator but declined, if he had gone that route it would’ve put him in a much better position.

I don’t see any version of whyte beating fury, he would get his head boxed off for 12 rounds the same way chisora did twice
